Privacy Policy

Papershot does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Period.

Data collection

Papershot collects no data whatsoever. The app contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, no third-party services, and no account system. It makes no network connections.

Your documents

Documents you scan are processed and stored exclusively on your device, using Apple's on-device frameworks (Vision for detection and text recognition, Core Image for processing). They are never uploaded anywhere. Documents leave your device only when you explicitly share or export them using the iOS share sheet, and then only to the destination you choose.

Permissions

Camera — used solely to scan documents. Frames are processed on-device in real time and are not retained unless you capture a page.
Photo Library (optional) — requested only if you import existing photos into a scan, or choose to save an export to Photos.

Children's privacy

Papershot collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Papershot ever changes these practices, this page and the App Store privacy label will be updated before release.
