Where are my scans stored?
Only on your iPhone. Papershot has no server and no account system; documents never leave your device unless you share them yourself.

Why does Papershot ask for camera access?
To scan documents. That's the only use. Photo library access is only requested if you choose to import existing photos or save exports to Photos.

Is the PDF really searchable?
Yes — an invisible text layer generated by on-device OCR is embedded in every exported PDF, so you can select, copy and search the text in Preview, Files, Acrobat and any standard reader.

How much does it cost?
Papershot is free. No subscription, no watermark, no locked features.
